We don't run programs and call it relationships. We build relationships first — and the program follows.
My mum, Pina, started in early childhood in 2008 because she wanted a centre she'd send her own children to. I joined her after qualifying as a primary and early-childhood teacher in 2015 — and together we run Berwick as a family, not a franchise.
We stay small on purpose. Seventy-nine children across five rooms, in a heritage building we know inch by inch. The educators on these walls have mostly been with us for years — children feel that stability before adults notice it.
