Everything below comes straight from our family guide. For fees, subsidy eligibility and a full copy of the guide itself, give Pina a call — we like to talk those through personally so we can check what funding applies to your family.
- Enrolment is completed through our digital enrolment form (link sent on request). Our digital system stores child, family, cultural, medical, immunisation and permission details securely. Once submitted, admin sets up your family account and emails your OWNA app login.
- Yes. We offer one free two-hour orientation, preferably between 9:30 and 11:30 am, so your child can experience the full daily routine — indoor and outdoor play, meal times and group activities. Educators spend ~15 minutes with parents to document routines, preferences and individual needs.
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, for 52 weeks per year. Closed on public holidays. Children cannot be signed in before 6:30 am — they're not covered by insurance prior to that time.
- A sun-safe hat (covering face, neck and ears), spare clothes (play is hands-on and gets messy), a labelled water bottle, comfort items if needed, bibs and dummies in named containers, any medications handed directly to an educator. We supply nappies, wipes, sunscreen, bed linen and four meals.
- We kindly ask that toys stay at home — it prevents loss, damage and distraction. If your child wants to share something special, show it to the educator at drop-off and take it home again.
- Four chef-prepared meals daily: breakfast (for early arrivals), morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea — plus a late snack. We're a nut- and egg-free zone. Menus are designed to reflect a variety of tastes, religious and cultural needs, and individual health requirements.
- If your child shows symptoms of contagious illness (fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, persistent cough, thick coloured nasal discharge, rashes, head lice, weeping cold sores), they must stay home until fully resolved or you provide a doctor's clearance. We follow this strictly for the safety of all children and staff.
- All medication must be submitted via the OWNA app with clear instructions and handed directly to staff in its original packaging with a pharmacy label. Never leave medication in a child's bag or locker. Single-dose Panadol/Paracetamol may be given only with prior written enrolment-form permission.
- Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework 2.0 (EYLF), VEYLDF and MTOP — and aligned with the National Quality Standards. Learning is intentional, inclusive and play-based, anchored by our B.R.I.G.H.T. values.
- Through play, relationships, routines, intentional teaching and exploration. Every experience — group time, outdoor play, mealtimes, conversations — is treated as an opportunity for learning. Programs are planned through observations, family input, community connection and the children's own interests.
- Through the OWNA app — daily photos, learning observations, meals, sleeps, toileting, medication and incident records. Plus direct conversations at drop-off and pick-up, scheduled meetings, newsletters and event RSVPs in-app.
- We prefer to share fee details and the full family guide directly so we can answer your questions and check eligibility for Free Kinder, Child Care Subsidy and our new-family / referral promotion (one month of free childcare, conditions apply).
